| Fame Game Highlight of the Week: Eyebeam
It has been a difficult two weeks for Eyebeam. Like many New Yorkers, they were inundated with water which filled their entire ground floor and caused severe damage to the building. They also lost much of their archives, computers and other electronic equipment, and all the ground floor furniture. They are estimating that the damage will cost between $200,000 and $250,000, depending on how much they can salvage.
Thanks to the overwhelming support of volunteers, their building is now clean. However, they still need your help. Donate to Eyebeam today and help replace destroyed equipment, rescue what remains of the archive, and enable them to reopen and continue their groundbreaking work of fifteen years. For information on our upcoming events, please visit eyebeam.org.
